For the first time in PBB's history, the televiewers were given the power to nominate, and according to host Toni Gonzaga, one of those that was nominated by the viewers was also nominated by the housemates themselves.
The first declared nominee was Chevin Cecilio, the "Simpatikong Salesman" of Camarines Sur. He got the most number of votes from the housemates who don't like him mostly for being insensitive.
Second was Maris Racal, the "Singing Sunshine" of Davao. Her fellow housemates' reasons for voting against her included being "maarte" and not doing anything inside the house.
After the second nominee, it was revealed that Chevin was also nominated by the viewing public, getting 22.76% of votes which was the second highest.
The highest percentage of viewer's votes, meanwhile, belonged to Loisa Andalio, the "Talented Darling" from ParaƱaque. She got 25.08% of votes from the viewers, and it automatically made her one of this week's nominees as well.
