Kris Aquino praises James Yap's gf for being good to Bimby

Kris Aquino had good words for Michaella Cazzola, the girlfriend of her former husband, James Yap, during the Thursday episode of "Kris TV."

"In fairness to her naghanda siya. Cute ng mga gift niya na inihanda for Bimb. I like her na. If you are good to my son, I like you talaga," The TV host-actress said on television regarding Cazzola's efforts to celebrate the seventh birthday of James "Bimby" Yap Jr., Aquino's son with the PBA player.

Cazzola didn't attend Bimby's party last month but she made an effort to celebrate the kid's birthday even if it's already late.

"So sabi ko, 'I like her," Aquino continued. "Tapos may cake daw na dala for his birthday kahit late na. A for effort."

The "Kris TV" host also said that Cazzola knows Bimby's favorite softdrink and even his favorite color.

"Alam niya 'yung softdrink na starts with the letter S and favorite color blue," she said.

Bimby, however, was shy to tell his mom that he had a good time with his dad's new girl.

"Alam mo nahihiya pa siya, it gives you insights about children. Kasi nahihiya si Bimb na magkuwento. 'Did you have fun?' 'Yeah, but are you mad?' 'No, of course not.' Kasi parang ayaw niya na mag-enjoy siya baka ma-hurt ako," Aquino said, sharing to her televiewers the conversation she and Bimby had.

But the kid said he and his dad are not yet close.

"Sabi ko, 'That is so good. I want you to be closer to him.' Tapos sabi niya, 'I'm not yet close to him, mama. Later on, it will take time.' It will take time to get close to the tatay," she added.
