On May 2, 2014, the TV host-actress posted a photo of herself with a group that includes her manager and "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" co-host Boy Abunda, and Regal Films matriarch Lily Monteverde, and Ramsay.
She said in the caption that she's hoping the project that would have been directed by Erik Matti would push through. She described the movie as "an adult relationship drama about going with the flow of love after mutual failed relationships."
However, on the May 12 episode of her morning show, "Kris TV," she talked about how Vidanes said no to the project and proceeded to say sorry to Ramsay.
"Nakausap ko si Tita Cory Vidanes and I was told, 'You tell Regal hindi pwede.' So yun na. So, I apologize. Derek Ramsay, I'm sorry. I'm obeying my boss," she said.
