Dong Nguyen is bringing Flappy Bird back in the App Store this August with a multiplayer version.
The Vietnamese game developer took the original Flappy Bird down last February amid controversies. Some alleged that he just copied the game and that the original developer prompted him to take it down. Meanwhile, other reports said it was because he felt guilty over the game's success which allegedly gave him $50,000 a day from advertisements.
Nguyen, however, confirmed the rumors of Flappy Bird's comeback in an interview with Kelly Evans.
Aside from being multiplayer, Nguyen hinted that the bird can now jump from one building to another.
