Claudine Barretto visits ABS-CBN

Controversial actress Claudine Barretto was seen on the ABS-CBN grounds on Monday, May 5, 2014, accompanying her lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, who was having an interview on DZMM's "Mismo."

The hosts of the radio program, however, interviewed Barretto as well, marking the her first interview after quite a long time.

The actress talked about her niece, Julia Barretto, during the interview, saying the "Mirabella" star is better than her as an actress.

"Julia can act. Mas magaling sa akin 'yon kasi marunong siya ng comedy, eh! 'Di ba? Drama, may nakuha na siya. May dugo siyang drama, may dugo pa siyang comedy," she said. Julia's father is comedian Dennis Padilla.

In an earlier interview, Julia revealed that she looks up to her aunt as an actress and would like to follow her footsteps career-wise.

Meanwhile, Topacio revealed that they are "preparing something in court" that has something to do with Claudine and her estranged husband Raymart Santiago's finances as a couple.

Claudine has an ongoing legal battle with Raymart, accusing him of "physical, sexual, psychological and economic" abuse since 2002.

The two has two kids in the custody of Claudine - adopted daughter Sabina and son Santino.
