Janelle Manahan, girlfriend of the slain actor Ramgen Revilla, is set to file a case against her boyfriend's mother and siblings for the upload of the personal video that shows Janelle and Ramgen in their intimate moments.
The video was allegedly stored in Ramgen's laptop which is believed to be in the possession of Genelyn Magsaysay and kids Gail, Reuben and Ramlyn.
Janelle will file a case of violation of the Anti-Voyeurism Act, a law that Ramgen's half-brother Senator Bong Revilla helped pass. The said law was made after explicit videos of Hayden Kho with several women spread online in 2009.
Section 4 of the law prohibits taking "photo or video coverage of a person or group of persons performing sexual act or any similar activity or to capture an image of the private area of a person/s such as the naked or undergarment clad genitals, public area, buttocks or female breast without the consent of the person/s involved and under circumstances in which the person/s has/have a reasonable expectation of privacy."
The law also reprimands copying or reproducing, as well as selling, distribution, publication and broadcast of such materials.
But Genelyn Magsaysay, Ramgen's mother, denied the claims of Janelle's camp in an interview saying they have nothing to do with the video's upload and that they, themselves, are hurt by what is happening.
