Typhoon Pedring Hits Luzon, Metro Manila Devastated

Typhoon Pedring made himself felt early Tuesday morning with strong winds but lesser rain than what we usually get during typhoons. It still caused flood, though, in some areas especially in the flood-prone areas like Malabon.

Strong winds also caused big waves in Manila Bay, destroying the seawall along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. Winds also caused at least two billboards in Makati City to fall down, hitting vehicles and causing traffic in the area.

The pool area of Sofitel Philippine Plaza was also unrecognizable after it was hit by the flood. The destruction of the seawall behind the hotel caused the water to enter the area.
