Pau Gasol Expresses Sympathy to the Victims of Typhoon Pedring

Pau Gasol of Los Angeles Lakers has expressed his sympathy to the victims of Typhoon Pedring in the Philippines.

Two hours ago, the NBA player posted this message on his Facebook page:

I read with sadness the terrible consequences that the typhoon in Philippines is causing. I send all my support to the people that are suffering this great disaster. my sincere condolences to the families of the victims. I will be paying attention to the evolution of the situation in the next hours.

A lot of Pinoy Facebook users have commented on the post, majority (if not all) of whom are flattered by his kind words.

Pau Gasol (Pau Gasol Sáez by birth) is 31 years old. He was born on July 6, 1980 in Barcelona, Spain and has been in the NBA since 2001. It was only in 2008, though, that he joined the Los Angeles Lakers.
