Gabriel Maturan sang Kenny Loggins’ Forever in the Top 7 performance show of The X Factor Philippines with the theme “songs from the 80s.”
Gabriel is under the Boys category mentored by Martin Nievera. The category is still intact, with not even one of the three contestants being included in the bottom group.
Judges’ comments:
Pilita Corales: I call him the quiet achiever. Pero gusto ko pa rin makita na hindi ka nahihiya.
Gary Valenciano: Quite an achiever. Nabigyan mo ng bagong buhay ang kanta. Over all, you did very good.
Charice Pempengco: Ang ganda. Gusto lang naming makita na talagang hindi ka mahiyain sa stage. Pero kung sa boses lang, maganda.
Martin: I want you to come out. Pag dumating sa stage, you have to be the star that we all know you really are.
