John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo reunites in “The Mistress”

The blockbuster tandem of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo will be back together again in the upcoming movie titled The Mistress.

To be directed by Olivia Lamasan, the movie has an adult storyline just like what the title suggests.

The two stars are excited to be working again together. It had been two years since they last teamed-up in the blockbuster hit Miss You Like Crazy.

Bea also confessed that she would have to work hard again to match John Lloyd’s acting level. John Lloyd, though, was sure that Bea would now have different sensitivity after a long time that they have not worked together.

Their 2007 movie, One More Chance, is currently the sixth highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, while their 2010 movie, Miss You Like Crazy, sits at number 8.

Aside from The Mistress, they are also in the cast of the 20th anniversary presentation of Star Magic, the management arm of ABS-CBN. They are also slated to do a television series which will be partly shot outside the country.
