German Moreno passed away early Friday morning. He was 82.
The "Master Showman" was rushed to a hospital in Quezon City Thursday night, where he died of cardiac arrest around 3:20 am of Friday, January 8, 2016.
Kuya Germs (as he is fondly called in showbiz) also suffered a mild stroke in January 2015.
He started in showbiz in the 1960s. He was a comedian but he became popular as the host of then long-running shows like "GMA Supershow," "That's Entertainment," and the still airing "Walang Tulugan."
