Leighton Meester is in Manila for Penshoppe!

American actress and singer Leighton Meester is now in Manila for her endorsement of the local clothing brand, Penshoppe.

She arrived past 9 PM of May 25, Friday, at the NAIA Terminal 3. She will be walking the Penshoppe runway at the Philippine Fashion Week today, May 26.

Leighton seems to have the Blair Waldorf (her character in Gossip Girl) mode on as she didn’t allow any interviews from the media. She just walked with a blank face in the middle of her escorts.

But then again, she and her entourage might have been given such instructions to avoid interviews and photo ops not authorized by Penshoppe’s publicist.

She’s now part of the Penshoppe All Stars, a campaign featuring international celebrities like Ed Westwick, Mario Maurer, Zac Efron and Ian Somerhalder.

Ed, Leighton’s co-star in Gossip Girl, was reported to have told her to accept the Penshoppe endorsement when she asked for the actor’s take on the brand. Ed also visited Manila last year for the endorsement and was the first to be included in the Penshoppe All Stars campaign.
