Jose Manalo’s name is now becoming more famous than ever not because of his successful concert with Wally Bayola at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Friday, but because his wife was interviewed by The Buzz saying that the comedian has left her and their kids.
Annalyn Manalo, to whom Jose has several kids with, appeared on a taped interview in the ABS-CBN Sunday showbiz-oriented talk show. According to her, Jose had left them last January 6th. The comedian changed his number and hasn’t been texting her.
The wife said she knew, and has proofs, of Jose’s affair with another woman since last year. “Tinitiis ko lang lahat ito para sa mga bata,” she told The Buzz.
The last message she received from Jose was “Mommy mahal kita. Mommy I love you” last January 3rd, but aside from changing his number, Jose allegedly made up stories to put her in bad light among his friends. “Wala akong mahingan ng tulong. Binan kami sa Broadway [Centrum].”
Annalyn also told The Buzz that she has talked to “the other woman” twice and pleaded for her to leave Jose. She and her kids, though, are willing to forgive the comedian if he decides to come back to them.
It can be remembered that back in 2009, Annalyn got involved in a jewelry scam issue which prompted Jose to take a leave from hosting Eat Bulaga! He returned in the show on April 2010 after a long absence.
I’m sure Jose has his own side of the story, and although he has been silent about the issue (and we wouldn’t have noticed there’s something going on in his family life because he’s always smiling and joking around), he would surely give his statement regarding the matter given the right time.
