Filipino-American Anna Maria Perez de Tagle is coming back to Manila after more than a decade to do front act for the Jonas Brothers’ concerts.
The Disney-turned-Broadway star recently confirmed the news to ABS-CBN’s North America Bureau, also adding that she’s excited for the chance to go back to the country and stay for a while after the concert.
Jonas Brothers will hold the Manila concert on October 19 and the Cebu concert on Oct. 20. Anna Maria will be front-acting for both.
The 21-year-old singer and actress has worked with the Jonas Brothers in the past in Disney’s Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and has also went on tour with them via the Jonas Brothers Live in Concert in 2010.
Last year, she began starring on Broadway in the revival of Godspell.
There are some projects lined up for Anna Maria when she gets back to the US after her Manila visit, one of which is possibly the role of Kim in the Miss Saigon movie.
