Jonas Brothers disbands

<p>The Jonas Brothers are no more, as announced by their rep on Tuesday.</p><!--more-->

<p>Composed of Kevin, Nick and Joe, the band was formed in 2005 and gained popularity on the Disney Channel.</p>

<p>Their first studio album titled <em>It's About Time</em> was released in 2006, making them an instant worlwide phenomenon.</p>

<p>The news about their split came shortly after their 2013 world tour was cancelled because of a rift in the band. The cancellation was reported as a mutual decision between the band members.</p>

<p>"It's really hard to say 'forever.' We're closing a chapter, for sure," Nick said, as quoted by People.</p>

<p>Their last album was <em>Lines, Vines and Trying Times</em> released in 2009. They still have an unreleased album titled <em>V</em>.</p>

Jonas Brothers arrive in Manila!

The Jonas Brothers arrived in Manila on Wednesday night, causing frenzy at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Kevin, Nick and Joe are here for a two-night concert – the first one being tomorrow night, October 19th, 8 PM, at the Mall of Asia Arena; and the second one will be at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on October 20th.

Anna Maria Perez de Tagle to front act for Jonas Brothers in Manila and Cebu

Filipino-American Anna Maria Perez de Tagle is coming back to Manila after more than a decade to do front act for the Jonas Brothers’ concerts.

The Disney-turned-Broadway star recently confirmed the news to ABS-CBN’s North America Bureau, also adding that she’s excited for the chance to go back to the country and stay for a while after the concert.

On the January 13 post to their MySpace blog, the Jonas Brothers brought the news of the Fan Family Experience. What exactly is it? "Fan Family" is basically their fans, and Fan Family Experience is and activity of the "Fan Family" with the Jonas Family. How cool is that?

Hey everyone!

2008 was an amazing year, and we owe it all TO YOU!

In 2009, we want to work WITH YOU to make this year even better!

As you know, the Jonas family does everything together, and we know you and your friends, the FANFAMILY, do everything together.

You may have heard that our 3D movie is coming out and in the movie, we invite you behind the scenes for the ultimate Jonas experience.

But over the next seven weeks - which will be the busiest seven weeks ever - we’re going to work together to create the “FanFamily” Experience!

What is the FanFamily Experience?

There will be a variety of activities and events that allow us to join forces on everything we do this year – from the 3D movie to the World Tour to the release of our new CD. But our first FanFamily project is to make the OPENING WEEKEND OF THE 3D MOVIE the BIGGEST OPENING WEEKEND EVER for a 3D movie.

Besides reading letters and watching some of your videos, we want to GET TO KNOW YOU – the FanFamily - better by working together in some new and exciting ways!

Over the coming weeks, make sure you are checking MySpace, watching YouTube, and listening to SayNow for more details on how to participate in the FanFamily Experience.

We are REALLY excited about working with you, the FanFamily, to make this the best year ever!
