87th Academy Awards (2015) nominees announced

The nominees for the 87th Academy Awards (2015) were announced on Thursday.

"Birdman" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel" topped the list with nine nominations each, including Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Director.

"The Imitation Game" was second with eight nominations, followed by "Boyhood" and "American Sniper" both with six.
