Whitney Houston’s The Essential Whitney Houston album was Astrovision/Astroplus’ top-selling foreign album from March 5-11, 2012.

The death of the singer helped in the sales of the 2-CD album that includes hits from her glory era from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Second in the list was Adele’s Live At The Royal Albert Hall album, and if it’s any indication of how the Filipinos love the singer, her 21 album was at number 5.

At number 3 was Hanson’s Shout It Out Loud album. Hanson is going to have a concert in Manila and Cebu on March 30 and 31 respectively. Expect their album’s sales to soar as the dates get nearer.
