Eugene won Best Actress at the 2013 Tokyo International Film Festival for her role.
The movie also gave Jun Lana a Best Director award at the Madrid Film Festival.
Also in the cast of the movie are Eddie Garcia, Iza Calzado, Gladys Reyes, Shamaine Buencamino, Nonie Buencamino, Nicco Manalo, Sue Prado, Jesse Mendoza and Daniel Fernando, together with the superstar Nora Aunor in a special role.
