Erik Santos denied the rumors romantically linking him to Angeline Quinto, saying they are just so close to each other as friends that some people think there’s something more going on between them.
The Kapamilya singer, however, admitted the rumors that he gave the Star Power champion a watch.
According to Erik, it was during his trip to Japan when he learned that Angeline collects watches. He decided to buy one for her as a token of appreciation for her friendship and company.
The rumors started when a photo of the two holding hands during the Star Magic US Tour in Hawaii spread online. And although Angeline also denied the rumors before, she also said that she would welcome it would Erik decide to court her.
Aside from being regulars in ASAP 2012, the two also recently recorded and appeared in the music video of Suddenly It’s Magic. It is the theme song of the Star Cinema movie with the same title topbilled by Erich Gonzales and Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer.
