Just hours after Karl Roy passed away, news about the death of another OPM great saddened the Philippines.
Bodjie Dasig, who composed and popularized the song Sana Dalawa ang Puso Ko, has also passed away. He died in California at the age of 48.
Bodjie is married to Odette Quesada, who is also a Filipino composer. They migrated to the US where they continued sharing their talents.
March 13, 2012 is a fateful day for the local music industry. Losing two great figures that has contributed a lot to OPM is indeed a reason for mourning.
