Kathryn Bernardo finally commented on the "audio scandal" involving his onscreen partner and rumored boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.

Daniel's ties with his "Bonifacio Ang Unang Pangulo" co-star Jasmine Curtis-Smith were questioned at the height of the audio controversy.

The Teen King admitted that the voice heard in the clip was his. Jasmine, on the other hand, denied any romantic relationship with the actor but she admitted that they indeed exchanged text messages. Their conversation, according to the younger sister of Anne Curtis, revolved around his dad who was in the hospital that time.

Since the controversy came out, Kathryn faced the press for the first time on Tuesday during a press conference for an endorsement.

"Noong nalaman ko, siyempre normal lang naman [na maapektuhan]. Pero inayos naman ni DJ, si Tita Karla (Estrada, Daniel's mother), makikita mo na lahat sila na in-ensure ako kung ano talaga 'yung nangyari. Of course, maniniwala naman ako sa kanila at nagtitiwala naman ako sa kanila," the Teen Queen said, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.

She added that they have learned a lot from the controversy and God has a purpose on why it happened.

"Importante sa akin 'yung marami kaming natutunan sa nangyari.. Feeling ko naman, planado naman 'yun ni God kung ano ang nangyari," she said.

She also gave an assurance that everything is now fine between her and Daniel.

"Basta ngayon, ayos na, masaya na ulit kami. Basta ngayon, mas nag-grow kami pareho sa nangyari, nag-grow lahat."
