Piolo Pascual Admits Relationship with KC Concepcion

Piolo Pascual admitted on The Buzz the real score between him and the megadaughter KC Concepcion.

In an interview with Charlene Gonzales, the actor who’s so often rumored to be gay admitted that he had been in a relationship with KC since October 21, 2010. But it wasn’t an easy feat for Piolo (despite the good looks and all) because he courted KC for two long years before finally getting her to say yes.

Piolo apologized for keeping mum on the issue for so long and only talking about it now. Piolo explains, “The reason why I never admitted naman or never elaborated was because may pinoprotektahan ako. You know how it is, you have a son na hindi mo makasama, ayaw mong mapariwara yung bata ayaw mong magkaroon ng ibang reaction kasi bata ‘yon. He’s only 13 years old. But I think I’ve decided at this point na kung ano man magiging reaction ng anak ko from here, we just have to deal with it. And siguro para na rin matigil na ‘yong mga nagpaparinig kay Kristina.” And he immediately followed his last statement with a “joke!”

Charlene commented on how hard it is for someone as kind as KC to be put up in a situation like that (where they couldn’t let the relationship out in the open). To it, Piolo answered, “I found it too unfair because s’ya [KC] ‘yong laging nagsasalita so finally I told her a couple of days ago nung nag-usap kami [that] I guess it’s time for me to speak up, ikaw lagi nagsasalita and alam kong nahihirapa ka rin and bilang lalaki I guess it’s also a responsibility para naman she’s not left in the dark, hindi s’ya nahihirapan sumagot…”

But what’s the real reason why he decided to let the relationship come out in the open? Perhaps this statement from the heartthrob sums it all: “I wouldn’t wanna watch another interview para may magsabi na may crush sa kanya o gusto s’yang i-date. I just want it out, you know, I just want him to know na she’s taken.” And to that, a loud cheer from his fans in the audience was heard. Did Phil Younghusband’s vocal interest in wanting to date KC on Valentine’s Day got him to speak out?

He calls KC “My Princess” as a term of endearment. And this was what he had to say to her when Charlene asked him to give his princess a message: “More than anything, I’m just really thankful that she’s sticking it out with me. Her family, they’re also nice to me… Sobra-sobra-sobrang patience nya sa akin, sobra-sobrang understanding, sobra-sobrang pagmamahal ‘yong nararamdaman ko na masasabi ko ibang klase, ibang klaseng babae ‘to…”

So what do you think? Will Piolo’s telling the whole world about it stop the men from being vocal about their admiration for the beautiful megadaughter?

Kim Chiu & Gerald Anderson Together Again

After teaming-up with Enchong Dee, Kim Chiu will be paired again with Gerald Anderson on next Sunday’s episode of ABS-CBNs Your Song Presents: Kim.

Gerald, on the other hand, plays the role of Alfred, a happy-go-lucky guy who’s the total opposite of his brother Dave.

Tere and Alfred meet when Alfred almost hit Tere with the car he is driving. He instantly gets attracted to her and follows her around. Alfred professes his love for her in a Valentine date.

Charice to Finally Do the GMA-7 Special

Charice is in the country to do the much talked-about special with GMA-7.

Late last year, news broke out that she has signed up to do a Christmas special with the Kapuso Network. It didn’t materialize, though, because Charice had been so busy doing Christmas shows in the US.
Charice was even bashed for not coming home to do the special, some even saying that she has already turned her back on her mother country.
Some, though, speculated that ABS-CBN (the network that discovered Charice, though didn’t give much importance to her talent until after she was recognized internationally) reprimanded the young singer to do shows in their rival network.
But all is well. Charice flew in this morning from Los Angeles to do the special. And who will she be working with? Tim Yap dropped a name by tweeting: "another thing to be excited abt is @officialCharice and @superElmo duet for Charice's GMA TV special.Gonna take a peak@ their rehearsals later!"
In a separate tweet, the Tweetbiz host also said: “she is going to sing Listen in her GMA TV special. With special guests Ogie, Michael V, Rachelle Ann and Elmo.”
So Charice will have a duet with Elmo Magalona and most likely also with Ogie Alcasid, Michael V, and  Rachelle Ann Go. Are you excited? Or are you excited?

Piero Vergara/Van Roxas “I Love the Way You Lie Part 2” Cover

Piero Vergara was a print-ad model before joining GMA-7’s StarStruck V where he became one of the 14 finalists. He was booted early from the show and did some tv guestings on the network after that.

Later on, he was seen on ABS-CBN as a contestant on Pilipinas Win na Win. He then became a regular of the network’s teen-oriented afternoon show, Shout Out!.

I knew he could sing because he used to do so during his StarStruck V days. But I didn’t realize he could sing this good.

I chanced upon this video on YouTube, where he did a cover of Rihanna & Eminem’s hit I Love the Way You Lie Part 2 with Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2’s Van Roxas.

Piero’s voice has a deep quality that would make him a good balladeer.

Watch the cover below.

GMA-7 Replays “Machete”

For those who weren’t able to watch the first five episodes of GMA-7’s hit primetime show Machete, or for those who want to re-watch the show just for the heck of it, the network made a “summarized” version of its first week and showed it earlier.

And for those of you who still weren’t able to catch the replay of the Aljur Abrenica-starrer, you can watch it here.

Garage’s Young Talents Issue

On this year’s Young Talents Issue, Garage magazine has four young and fresh male talents on its double cover.

Ivan Dorschner and Steven Silva are together on one cover, and AJ Perez and Enrique Gil are together on the other.

Ivan Dorschner became well-known after his PBB stint where he eventually became the 4th Big Placer. But before that, he was first seen as a contestant on the now defunct Wowowee and one of the audience in Showtime. He’s currently seen Thursdays on ABS-CBN’s afternoon teen variety show, Shout Out.

Steven Silva is the only Kapuso on the said cover. The half-Portuguese, one-fourth-Chinese, and one-fourth-Filipino Ultimate Male Survivor of GMA-7’s Starstruck V is currently seen on the afternoon soap Koreana and the Sunday noontime variety show Party Pilipinas.

AJ Perez is a member of Star Magic Batch 13. He was last seen on the big screen through the movie Mamarazzi. He’s currently a member of Giggerboys and can be seen on ASAP regularly.

Enrique Gil is also a member of Giggerboys and is a member of Star Magic Batch 16. Before being an ABS-CBN talent, he has appeared in a series of tv commercials and was a member of STAGES, a musical theater company.

Young talents indeed. Will they be as successful as the previous Young Talent covers Gerald Anderson and Enchong Dee?

Alex Gonzaga in “Babaeng Hampaslupa”

Alex Gonzagas star shines brighter as she stars in the new TV5 soap, Babaeng Hampaslupa.

Two young actors play her leading men – Alwyn Uytingco and Martin Escudero.

Alex plays the role of Grace, a Tondo girl who makes a living out of scavenging the garbage.

Babaeng Hampaslupa is yet again another story of poverty and how the poor survives. It also tackles how one finds love amidst the grumbling of the stomach and the shortage of everything.

The primetime drama premieres February 7 on TV5. Will it do well in the ratings game? We’ll soon find out.

Watch the trailer below.

Charice Busy Working in Paramount Studios

Charice has been confirmed working in the Paramount Studios through the tweets of those she’s currently working with.

Boy Reckless is a California-based hip-hop duo which has a large underground following. Their tweet reads: “Up in Paramount with @OfficialCharice @KCLivingston and @djteenwolf gettin it in!!”

Another tweet by songwriter Ms Tick Tick Boom says, “doing some writing for @officialcharice w/ the @Stereotypestv.”

Also, singer/songwriter/YouTube star Courtney Woolsey tweets, “at paramount studios laying down a demo track for charice. yay!”

We’ve all been waiting for Charice’s comeback on Glee, but would her second album – which is said to be focused on dance tunes - come first before we see Sunshine Corazon on the Fox hit show?

Vanilla Ice Crashes on Ice

Remember rapper Vanilla Ice from the early 90s? Well, he’s still around although he’s not rapping anymore.

Vanilla Ice (Robert Matthew Van Winkle) now dances on ice. He's currently a celebrity contestant on UK's Dancing on Ice 2011. Unfortunately, he bashed his head during his Dancing on Ice training this week. So bad that there was blood and he was knocked unconcious for a few minutes.

Watch his last week's performance below.

Jome Silayan, One of Marian Rivera’s Leading Men

GMA-7’s upcoming epicserye, Amaya, starring Marian Rivera made a buzz when news about the network’s interest in getting the services of Derek Ramsay to be one of Marian’s three leading men in the series was reported. Derek, though, is not transferring network.

But it seemed that GMA-7 has already found someone to fill in one of Marian’s three leading men.

Jome Silayan, who made quite a noise with the above pic when it came out to promote the Bench Uncut fashion show, is now said to be one of the leading men.

A student of the De La Salle University, Jome has showbiz blood in his veins. He’s the grandson of the 70s actor Vic Silayan and the nephew of Chat Silayan.

Aside from being a Bench model, Jome won the Ultimate Male Hottie award at last year’s Nestea Fit Camp.

He also joined Cosmo Magazine’s search for Summer Steamy Studs 2010.

Well I guess GMA-7 has offered him a break he’s been waiting for. And to top it all, he’s a leading man to Marian Rivera so it will surely be a hit.

Re-makes

It seems that “revival” is a trend not only in the music scene but in television soap operas as well.

After remaking Mara Clara, talks about ABS-CBN remaking the Claudine Baretto-Rico Yan-starrer Mula sa Puso has now surfaced.

Can’t they find any more new stories that could be a potential hit? Or are they trying to bring back their old hits because they are already losing in the ratings game?

Just asking.

Derek Ramsay Not Transferring Network

Rumors about Derek Ramsays transfer to another network isn’t true. The actor will remain in ABS-CBN where he is set to host a reality show and do a television series.

In a text message to Pep.ph, Derek’s manager Jojie Dingcong says:

"Not true. Derek is co-hosting The Biggest Loser with Sharon C [Cuneta] in Ch 2. He is also set to star in a soap with Kris A [Aquino], Anne Curtis, and Diether [Ocampo]."

And then we thought he’d be Marian Riveras new leading man in her upcoming epic series, GMA-7’s Amaya. Derek would have been a perfect choice for the role.

Thia Megia Goes To Hollywood

After Charice’s rise to fame and making us proud, here’s another young female vocalist by the name of Thia Megia who auditioned in American Idol 10 in their Milwaukee leg.

The 15-year-old high school student from Mountain House, California, sang Chasing Pavements by Adele.

She got three yeses and Jennifer Lopez even commented that Thia’s name is a movie star name.

Thia was an America’s Got Talent semi-finalist in 2009. Many guess her choice of song was what made the boot.

Then late 2009, she performed Who’s Loving You (Jackson 5) at the David Foster and Friends concert.

She has a big voice. We really hope she gets far American Idol.

Charice Still Not on Glee’s Super Bowl Episode?

On Sunday, Feb 6, Glee will air a special Super Bowl episode. Then two days after that, Feb 8, Glee will return to its regular schedule.

We have all heard about Charice returning to Glee via the Super Bowl episode, but her name isn’t on Fox’s official press release about the episode. All we know is that the New Directions will perform Michael Jackson’s Thriller and the Cheerios will do Katy Perry’s California Gurls.

I’m sure the Chasters can’t wait to see Charice back on Glee, but really, all we can do is wait.

The Statue Turns Into a (Sexy) Man

The statue has turned into flesh!

Aljur Abrenica’s fans were surely tuned in tonight for he made his first appearance on tonight’s episode of Machete. And just like in the promo pics, he really is hot. I wonder how the episode did in the ratings game.

If you missed it, you can watch it here.

Aljur Abrenica on Men’s Health Philippines Feb 2011 Cover

Aljur Abrenica sizzles in an uber wet white shirt and jeans on the cover of Men’s Health Philippines February 2011 ish.

The Machete lead star was also named the “Best Asian Model” at the 2011 Asia Model Festival Awards which is held annually in Korea.

Aside from Machete, Aljur can also be seen on GMA-7’s Sunday musical variety show.

Men’s Health Philippines February 2011 issue is now available for only P140.

Miss World Philippines

So Bb. Pilipinas will not be the one choosing the Philippine representative to the future Miss World pageant? Then we might just have a better chance of winning the crown.

Julia Morley, Miss World Organization chairman and CEO, was here in Manila January 25th to award the pageant’s local franchise to beauty and wellness guru, Ms. Cory Quirino.

Quirino will, from now on, spearhead the search for the country’s representative to the Miss World beauty pageant.

Together with Julia Morley, Miss World 2010 Alexandria Mills (USA) and her runner-up Emma Wareus (Botswana) also flew in to witness the awarding of the franchise which was held at Shangri-La Makati. Also present in the said event were Ruffa Gutierrez (Miss World 1993 2nd runner-up) and Evangeline Pascual (Miss World 1973 1st runner-up).

The first Miss World Philippines beauty pageant is scheduled August of this year.

Confirmed: Daniel Matsunaga’s Elevator Video is a Promo Material

Daniel Matsunaga, the Brazilian model who is the current boyfriend of actress Heart Evangelista, is the subject of the viral video that caught him kissing another girl inside an elevator. The word spread like wildfire even reaching the evening news, for that matter.

Many have speculated, including myself, that it’s a promo of some sort for a product endorsement. Even the reaction of Heart about the video gave it away.

And yes, we are right!

Harold Geronimo, a columnist of Manila Standard Today, tweeted this some 19 hours ago:

“Daniel Matsunaga & Heart Evangelista confirm elevator video is a viral material for Veet. It will be announced tomorrow thru an ad. Hehe.”

So it’s the hair removal product Veet. Can’t wait to see the TVC.

“Mutya”

First saw the full trailer of Mutya last Tuesday. It features a new child actress by the name of Mutya Orquia in the title role.

It's quite interesting to note that Ahron Villena (playing the role of Zale) is now back in ABS-CBN after transferring to GMA-7 for Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown.

Come to think of it, Survivor gave Ahron the sexy image, the reason why Walker underwear got his services as its model.

Another former Kapuso seen on the trailer is Alfred Vargas, who is playing the role of Prinsipe Irvin, the father of Mutya. After not having a project for a long time in GMA-7, I think it’s best that he transferred to ABS-CBN.

Others in the cast who play key characters include Precious Lara Quigaman as Cordelia (the human mother of Mutya), Niña Jose as Nerissa (the mermaid Prinsipe Irvin is arranged to marry), Jason Gainza as Tonyo (Mutya’s adoptive father), Tess Antonio as Ester (Mutya’s adoptive mother), Jarius Aquino as Aries (biological son of Tonyo and Ester), and Sandy Andolong as Madam Delilah.

Mutya premieres January 31, 2011 right after Noah. It was originally scheduled to air February 7th after Noah goes off-air, but perhaps the strong viewership of the new show in the other network prompted ABS-CBN to release this fantaserye sooner than planned.

With its swimming mermaids (and hot ones at that), I guess this one will make it high in the ratings.

Machete’s Pilot Episode Beats Mara Clara

Aljur Abrenica has a reason to celebrate. Machete’s pilot episode last Monday, January 24th, beat its rival program, Mara Clara, with a 1.8% margin.

AGB Nielsen Mega Manila People Ratings for primetime tv reads:

Bantatay (GMA) 10.8%; Sabel (ABS-CBN) 6.8%
24 Oras (GMA) 11.6%; TV Patrol (ABS-CBN) 9.5%
Dwarfina (GMA) 13.9%; Noah (ABS-CBN) 8.6%
Machete (GMA) 12.8%; Mara Clara (ABS-CBN) 11.0%
Beauty Queen (GMA) 9.7%; Imortal (ABS-CBN) 11.9%
Baker King (GMA) 9.3%; Kristine (ABS-CBN) 9.0%; Cinderella’s Sister (ABS-CBN) 5.8%
I-Witness (GMA) 2.3%; Bandila (ABS-CBN) 1.5%; Juicy 0.4% (TV5); Jojo All The Way (TV5) 0.3%

Machete was only second to Heart Evangelista’s Dwarfina, though, which still ruled with 13.9%.

“Kubeta!” + Rafael Rosell’s Sexy Moves

This video clip taken from last Sunday’s ASAP Rocks episode is supposed to be about someone from the audience shouting “Kubeta!” twice while Cristine Reyes was dancing onstage with Rayver Cruz.

But we have to understand that this episode was shot in Iloilo, and the audience are mostly from there who speak a different dialect. Could the word "kubeta" sound like something else in Ilonggo or Hiligaynon?

Oh well, "kubeta" it is or not, Rafael Rosell and his dance moves is what made this video interesting. Lurv!

Baron Geisler Files a Case Against Yasmien Kurdi

Sweet heavens! Baron Geisler, after all the complaints of sexual harassment, filed a counter case of “violation of anti-graft and corrupt practices” or Republic Act 3019 against actress Yasmien Kurdi who filed a case of Acts of Lasciviousness against him May last year.

During the arraignment of the case last week, Baron pleaded not guilty against the two counts of acts of lasciviousness and two counts of unjust vexation filed by Yasmien. Baron believes there’s no act of lasciviousness that happened because they were on the set that time complete with camera men, director, and lots of people. According to Baron, elements of acts of lasciviousness include force, intimidation, and the wanting to consummate an adulterous desire.

Bonifacio Alentajan, Baron’s legal counsel was quoted as saying, “We are here to seek justice for him. Sobra nang pang-aapi ang ginagawa sa kanya. Ganyan ang lumabas sa mga dokumentong ginawa nila. Pinagtulung-tulungan nila para maakusahan ng ‘di totoo si Baron. Puro conclusions lang ng people who are not even competent to make those conclusions.”

But tell me, could all these girls who complained harassment against Baron be wrong?

Danica Magpantay Wins Ford Supermodel of the World

Danica Flores Magpantay, 17, won Ford Supermodel of the World last Saturday in New York.

Danica bested more than 70 supermodels from all over the world, winning $250,000 of modeling contract. First runner-up was from Lithuania and second runner-up was from Poland. They received modeling contracts of $150,000 and $100,000 respectively.

Danica, a 17-year-old Fine Arts student of the University of the Philippines, isn’t new to modeling. Her mom, the now famous make-up artist Lala Flores, represented the country at the same competition in 1990 winning the Crest Best Smile award. Such genes I may say.

At 5’ 9”, Danica is the first ever Filipina to win the title. Those who came close were Melanie Marquez who was the first Pinay to join Ford Supermodel of the World in 1986 and finished second runner-up, Charo Ronquillo who was second runner-up in 2006, and Chat Almarvez who won first runner-up last year.

Daniel Matsunaga’s Elevator Scandal

Daniel Matsunaga's so-called elevator scandal is now widespread. It was even featured on the evening news last night.

Heart was quoted tweeting:
dont worry guys...if you saw it..somethings cooking:)

But the video looks scripted. My guess is that it’s a promotional thing for some endorsement.

See the way Daniel looked at the camera before walking out of the elevator?

Watch the 38-second video clip below.

What do you think? Scripted or not?

Derek Ramsay Made Me Turn Red

I was at the mall last Thursday when I had to text my niece, Angel, for the color of the shower curtain she was asking me to buy. I ran out of prepaid phone load so I walked up to the customer service kiosk selling all sorts of cards and electronic loads.

Derek Ramsay’s Red Mobile poster caught my eyes. He has such chiseled features and nice tan. From Century Tuna to Oxygen, now he’s endorsing Red Mobile. Lucky Angelica.

But my gaze was suddenly averted to Red’s unlimited text and call rates in the Derek Ramsay ad.

Imagine unlimited texting for just P4.00! And unlimited calls and texts for P8.00? Now that’s a real treat! Crazy Low Rates, indeed!

So what I did was buy 3 Red Mobile sim cards (for me, Angel, and my mom), inserted one of the sims on my phone and texted Angel about the shower curtain, at the same time informing her of my new number.

I went home that night and gave mom and Angel their Red Mobile sim cards. Upon learning about Red’s unli rates, I didn’t have to convince my mom twice. Angel, on the other hand, inserted her Red Mobile sim on her extra mobile phone.

Being always outside, I constantly need to contact my mother to check on her or to tell her my whereabouts. The same with Angel who’s now working as a call center agent. We always want to know if she reached her workplace safe especially when she leaves the house in the wee hours of the morning for her 4 AM shift.

Imagine being able to do all that for just P8.00 max!

We have actually tested the P8.00 unli calls last Friday when she called to inform us that she reached Makati safe. Then she called us again using Red Mobile’s unli call during her “lunch” break which was about 7:00 AM. Neat, right? P8.00 to give your loved ones peace of mind all throughout the day.

While my niece is a call and text person, I am not. I’m more of just a text person (but of course I answer calls). So my niece have been using the P8.00 unli calls and texts since I gave her the sim card. My mom and myself, on the other hand, use the P4.00 unli texts.

And just like on the other providers, you have to register for Red’s unlimited services.

For the P4.00 unlimited text messing for Red to Red subscribers, text TU4 and send it to 9949
For the P8.00 unlimited calls and texts for Red to Red subscribers, key in CTU8 and send it to 9949

“Machete” Premieres Jan. 24

If there’s an actor right now (in any tv network) fit to play the role of Machete, I really agree that it’s Aljur Abrenica.

And it’s just as fitting that the right to remake the movie went to GMA-7.

Machete (the movie versions) launched the careers of both Cesar Montano and Gardo Versoza in the 90s. Although the movies in which Cesar and Gardo appeared in were sexy movies in those times, we’re sure that the television version that will star Aljur will be less daring.

But judging from these promo pics, I’m sure everyone will have an eyeful of Aljur every night even if he’d not be wearing bahag (loincloth) which Cesar and Gardo wore.

Aljur, StarStruck 4’s Ultimate Hunk, is now so chiseled, I’m sure he’d be offered with more daring roles after this.

Also in the cast are Ryza Cenon (who is also a product of StarStruck), Bela Padilla, Ryan Eigenmann, Chariz Solomon, and Rocky Gutierrez (brother of Richard and Ruffa Gutierrez).

Directed by Don Michael Perez, Machete premieres January 24, 2011 on GMA-7.

Thia Megia on American Idol 10 Top 20?

American Idol 10 has just aired its pilot episode but spoilers were all over the internet as early as now.

There’s one thing, though, that we Pinoys can be happy about if the spoilers are all true. It’s because our fellow Filipino, Thia Megia, is included in the Top 20 spoiler.

Thia, 15-year-old, was a quarterfinalist in the fourth season of America’s Got Talent where she sang her rendition of Miley Cyrus’ The Climb.

There’s no mistaking that this girl has talent in singing. Let’s just hope that the spoilers are true.

Watch Thia’s The Climb rendition on America’s Got Talent below.

By the way, AI 10 has two new judges – superstars Steve Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. Randy Jackson is the only one of the original judges remaining.

Taylor Lautner Stars in “Abduction”

What would you do if you found your baby picture in a missing persons website? Well, that’s exactly the situation Taylor Lautner found himself in in his upcoming movie Abduction.

Abduction is Taylor’s first movie out of the Twilight series. Directed by John Singleton, the movie is set to be released September 23, 2011.

Also in the film are Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello, Jason Isaacs, and Lily Collins among others.

Will Taylor be a hit outside Twilight? Let’s wait for September and see.

Guilty or Not?

In Bulacan, Baron Geisler attended the arraignment of the case Acts of Lasciviousness filed against him by Yasmien Kurdi last May 2010. Baron filed a “Not Guilty Plea” against the two counts of acts of lasciviousness and two counts of unjust vexation filed against him by the actress. Yasmien couldn’t help but cry questioning the grounds of sexual harassment, asking if sexual harassment is only applicable to those acts resulting in rape?

When asked if he would ever apologize to Yasmien, the actor said, “Of course, not.” He believes that he has not done anything to apologize about.

Baron Geisler was also pressed with questions regarding the alleged boob-grabbing incident with award-winning actress Cherry Pie Picache on the set of ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series, Noah. But just like the other reports of lewd behavior against him, he denied that he sexually harassed Cherry Pie saying that he was just “in character” when the incident happened.

P.A.M.I. (Professional Artists Management, Inc.) meanwhile had an emergency meeting regarding the letter complaint filed by Ed Instrella, Cherry Pie’s manager. Both Baron and Cherry Pie’s managers are PAMI members therefore, they are under the association’s rules.

Dated January 19, 2011, the statement released by P.A.M.I. regarding the incident reads:

P.A.M.I. just concluded an emergency meeting in response to the letter of complaint received from Mr. Ed Instrella (Manager of Cherry Pie Picache) against actor Baron Geisler.

After hearing both sides from the two P.A.M.I. members, Ed and Arnold, the P.A.M.I. has decided on the following:

1. That all P.A.M.I. managed artists should not be exposed to incidents like this again for their safety and security;

2. We are requesting the assurance from all networks and movie producers to ensure that any actor in an intoxicated state should not be allowed on the set;

3. That Baron should publicly apologize to Cherry Pie Picache;

4. To inhibit all P.A.M.I. managed artists from working with Baron until such time that P.A.M.I. believes Baron Geisler is fully rehabilitated.

Arnold Vegafria, Baron’s manager, accepted the decision of the organization saying that it is for the best of both sides.

The decision actually is for the best of everyone. It’s just too bad that it had to happen to Cherry Pie first before they came up with these rules.

Arnold also added that Baron has already started his counseling sessions with his doctors - including a psychologist, a toxicologist, an internist, and a counselor (spiritual?). By this week, Baron will enter the rehab.

Baron, on the other hand, is tight-lipped about that.

Agimat: Ikalawang Pagsabak

Agimat: Ang mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla is now on its second season and appropriately dubbed as Ikalawang Pagsabak.

This season, Ejay Falcon stars as Pepeng Kuryente, Jason Abalos as Bianong Bulag, Jolo Revilla as Kapitan Inggo, and Enchong Dee as Boy Putik.

Jolo Revilla, grandson of Ramon Revilla, played Pepeng Agimat in the first season, and he’s the only one retained for the second season. Is he being retained because he’s the grandson of Ramon Revilla? Or is he retained because of his acting abilities?

Ikalawang Pagsabak is set to pilot  January 24th on ABS-CBN.

Baron Geisler Goes to Rehab

Baron Geisler goes to rehab. That’s after allegedly grabbing the boobs of Cherry Pie Picache, his co-actor in ABS-CBN’s primetime show Noah.

After Yayo Aguila and William Martinez’s daughter and Yasmien Kurdi, both victims of Baron Geisler’s lewd behavior, the actor seem to have not learned his lessons. Just last week, Baron didn’t show up at the hearing of the case filed by Yasmien Kurdi.

Baron plays an important role in Noah. It remains to be seen how they will get rid of his character in the hit primetime series.

Baron is an award-winning actor himself. Too bad he became an alcoholic too early.

Bb. Pilipinas Turns Kapamilya

Binibining Pilipinas, the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant responsible for choosing representatives to the Ms. Universe, Miss International, and Miss World pageants has now turned Kapamilya.

After years of partnership with GMA-7, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. has signed a five-year partnership contract with ABS-CBN. That means we now get to watch the pageant on the Kapamilya Network, rather than the Kapuso channel.

Not only did Binibining Pilipinas changed network but also its top beauty queen to date. Venus Raj, Ms. Universe 2010 fourth runner-up has also turned her loyalty from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN.

Is it a correct move? We shall see sooner or later.

The 2011 Binibining Pilipinas pageant, which airs on March, will be directed by the network’s ace director Johnny Manahan.

Moreover, 2011 Ms. Universe pageant, which will held in Brazil, will also be aired on ABS-CBN on September.

Sharon Cuneta Now Okay After Falling Onstage

Sharon Cuneta was rushed to the emergency room after her concert last night at Araneta Coliseum. She fell onstage while performing but just like a real performer, she continued on with the show until the very end.

After the show, though, she started feeling pain in her neck and back and had dizzy spells. But the ER doctor said it was just due to exhaustion.

Sharon is now at home and is doing quite well, that’s according to the tweets of her daughter, KC Concepcion.

The megastar’s birthday concert was successful, but the best production number of the show was said to be the air dance performed by the megadaughter KC and Sam Milby.

Air dance is always breathtaking, anyway, and I’ve seen KC do it before. But Sam Milby? I would definitely watch it when they show it on tv (which I’m sure they would).

A bunch of other stars performed in the concert like Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Ai-Ai de las Alas, Nina, Christian Bautista, Lani Misalucha, Sitti, and many more. The finale number included the pop princess, Sarah Geronimo.

Christian Bautista Stars in an Indonesian Film

Christian Bautista has indeed come a long way. Now, he's not just a singer but a model and an actor as well.

Latest on his acting venture is an Indonesian film entitled Simfoni Luar Biasa (with an English title of Jayden's Choir).

Who would've thought that Christian Bautista’s first title role in a movie would be from a foreign film outfit?

The movie is about a Filipino singer/actor named Jayden (Christian Bautista) and his quest for fame. He decides to fly to his mother in Indonesia when he failed to become famous in his own country. There, he became a music teacher for special children.

Simfoni Luar Biasa premieres March 17, 2011 in Indonesia and will be exhibited in other Asian countries after that.

Charice to Cover Black Eyed Pea's "Meet Me Halfway"

After making her Glee debut on the pilot episode of the show's second season, Charice will make her return as Sunshine Corazon on the 10th episode of the hit tv show.

Fans have long been waiting for this since they haven't seen or heard Charice sing with the Vocal Adrenaline. Charice's part in the pilot episode ended when she transferred to the rival school of New Directions and we haven't heard about the character after that.

In the pilot episode of Glee’s season 2, Charice's cover of Beyonce's "Listen" hit number nine in the iTunes chart, while her duet of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" with Lea Michele hit the fourth spot.

Rumor has it (and they are, more often than not, true) that Charice will do her rendition of Black Eyed Peas' "Meet Me Halfway" in the tenth episode.

For those of you who are not familiar with the song, here's the music video of "Meet Me Halfway" by the Black Eyed Peas:

Joseph Marco is Hot Part 2

Joseph Marco is one of the leads in ABS-CBN's drama series, Sabel, which also topbills Jessy Mendiola and AJ Perez.

Joseph Marco used to be with the GMA Network. In fact, he was given a bit role before in La Vendetta. But bit roles ain't enough, of course, that's why he moved to ABS-CBN for meatier roles (and better salary).

Joseph was already a familiar face on the internet before he was given the role of Raymund Sandoval in “Sabel.” Being a model with artista looks, he is more often than not one of those who walk the ramp shirtless or in briefs.

Here are some of Joseph Marco’s pics before he joined “Sabel.”
