"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" proves to be the top-grossing movie this year so far, opening with $60.6 million just in the U.S. It comes second with last year's "The Dark Knight," which had the biggest ticket sales for an opening day ever with $67.2 million.
For its first weekend, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" made $112 million, summing up its first 5 days of ticket sales in the U.S. with $201.2 million. It still comes second with "The Dark Knight", which made $203.8 million on its first 5 days of showing in the U.S.
