The 23-year-old Twilight hottie, Robert Pattinson, was hit by a cab while running away from hysterical teenage fans.
Five security guards were trying to keep the fans away from Robert Pattinson while he was getting out of Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street. It was raining when the London-born actor rushed across the street towards his trailer when a taxi cab grazed him. The driver immediately stepped on the brake when he realized what had happened. Luckily, Robert Pattinson was only mildly grazed on the hip and was okay.
Robert will be around Manhattan in the next 4 weeks, shooting a new movie titled "Remember Me" with Emilia de Ravin of television's "Lost."
