Julie Anne San Jose and Jake Vargas will be paired anew in the upcoming afternoon soap, "Buena Familia."
The two young stars have already been paired in the sitcom "Pepito Manaloto," but this upcoming project will be their first serious roles as a love team.
When asked if their love team will work, Julie Anne gave a positive answer saying it will indeed work because their tandem (JaLie) already has a following.
"Magwo-work po 'yon kasi may fan na rin po kaming dalawa ni Jake kasi dahil nga po roon sa Pepito Manaloto," the singer-actress said, as quoted by gmanetwork.com.
She also said that she's not at all choosy when it comes to a love team.
Before Jake, she was also paired with Elmo Magalona, who now has real-life girlfriend Janine Gutierrez as tandem.
"Kahit naman pong sinong makapareha ko, okay lang po sa 'kin. Wala po talagang problema 'yon. Saka open naman po ako sa lahat saka ayoko lang po na ma-stuck sa isa lang," she said.
"Buena Familia" also stars Kylie Padilla, Martin Del Rosario, Julian Trono, Aicelle Santos, Sheryl Cruz, Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon.
