Maxene Magalona scored her first win on the seventh week of the celebrity competition “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”
The judges gave Maxene high scores for her impersonation of her own father, the late Francis Magalona. Some of her fellow celebrity contestants also voted in favor of her.
As the winner, Maxene received P100,000. Half of it will go to her chosen charity, the Francis Magalona Foundation.
Melai Cantiveros was a strong contender with her impersonation of Rihanna. The comedienne looked a lot like the American singer, plus she performed really well, that some viewers couldn’t help expressing their opinions on Twitter saying Melai should have won.
