Marian Rivera backs out of "The Rich Man's Daughter"

Marian Rivera will no longer be part of "The Rich Man's Daughter's" cast due to her delicate condition.

It has recently been revealed that Marian is already pregnant with her first child with husband Dingdong Dantes. Since doing a television series demands long hours of work, Marian's camp probably saw it better for her to back out of doing such projects until after she gives birth.

GMA-7, meanwhile, understands the actress' decision, saying in a statement that Marian and her baby's safety should come first.

Here's the Kapuso Network's statement regarding Marian's leaving "The Rich Man's Daughter":

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has withdrawn from her upcoming program The Rich Man’s Daughter and her Pinoy TV guestings abroad due to her delicate condition.

GMA Network fully supports Marian’s decision and strongly believes that Marian and her baby’s safety is first and foremost.

We would like to assure her supporters that Marian will still be seen in various shows in the Kapuso Network. We pray for a healthy and happy pregnancy for our dear Marian.
