Rence Rapanot of Team Bamboo sang Rey Valera's "Malayo Pa Ang Umaga" in the second live performance show of "The Voice of the Philippines" season 2.
The folk singer from Bicol played the guitar while giving out a heartfelt rendition of the song that talks about hope.
His coach, Bamboo Mañalac, commended Rence for his distinct singing style, while coach Lea Salonga said he will someday be like Joey Ayala and Noel Cabangon.
