Eleven Lucky Stars from the hit game show “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” already tried their luck bargaining with the Banker but failed to take home the million-peso jackpot prize and nine are still up to make a deal of a lifetime in the coming weeks.
So far, veteran actor Rez Cortez has won the biggest amount of P450,000, while sexy actress Yam Concepcion has brought home the lowest amount of one peso. Who among remaining Lucky Stars Arlene Muhlach, Baron Geisler, Bianca Manalo, Bonito, Epy Quizon, Eric Nicolas, Long Mejia, Ramon Christopher, and Ryan Bang will emerge as the first millionaire this season?
Since the show returned on air two weeks ago, KDOND instantly became a hit among viewers as it consistently beats rival in the ratings game. Aside from the tension-filled viewing experience, host Luis Manzano’s funny antics, and the show’s new format, which is the first time to be done among all ‘Deal’ franchises around the world, another interesting element that viewers watch our for this season is the Lucky Stars dynamics.
The celebrity briefcase holders noticeably have a good rapport with each other despite their different states as celebrities.
“We are one whole family in KDOND. We just have fun every taping,” said Nina Jose.
“We all had our adjustment period but I never expected to be this close to my co-Lucky Stars, such as Kuya Monching and Kuya Epi,” shared Matt Evans.
“I was able to bond with all of them. Everybody is so nice and helpful. There was a time when my eyelashes got detached and Donna and the rest of the girls helped me fix it. I was really touched. They give me their all-out support and they really take care of me,” Melanie Marquez recounted.
