A teaser for the upcoming Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla-starrer, the remake of "Pangako Sa 'Yo," was revealed last night at the Kapamilya Trade Event.
The teaser promises a "more mature" Kathryn and Daniel in the series that will be helmed by its original director, Rory B. Quintos.
Look, the 19-year-old actress showed a little bit of cleavage:
Kathryn will play the role of Yna Macaspac, originally played by the beautiful Kristine Hermosa who was 17-year-old when she did the series.
Daniel, on the other hand, will play Angelo Buenavista which was originally done by Jericho Rosales.
Aside from Kathryn and Daniel, the actors that will play two of the major characters in the remake were also revealed in the teaser.
Jodi Sta. Maria will take on the role of Kathryn's mom, Amor Powers, which was played in the original series by Eula Valdez.
Claudia Buenavista which was originally played by Jean Garcia, meanwhile, will be played by Angelica Panganiban.
Angelica is being criticized for the role this early. Some showbiz fans say she looks too young to be playing the role of Daniel's mom. Others also say she's a little "big" for the role.
Set to air in 2015, "Pangako Sa 'Yo" is presented by Star Creatives, which brought us previous KathNiel teleseryes "Princess and I" and "Got To Believe," the hit "The Legal Wife," and the currently airing "Forevermore."
