Kathryn Bernardo’s “Wansapanataym” special wins in national TV ratings, trends on Twitter

Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo’s continues to work her charm with kids, teenagers, and the whole family as her “Wansapanataym” special ‘Puppy Ko Si Papi’ debuted strong in national TV ratings.

According to data from Kantar Media last Sunday (November 9), the first episode of Kathryn’s “Wansapanataym” special scored a national TV rating of 26.7%, or almost 9 points higher compared to its rival program in GMA “Ismol Family” (17.9%). Aside from ratings, ‘Puppy Ko Si Papi’ also conquered social networking sites such as Twitter where the hashtag #KathrynBernardoPuppyKoSoPapi became a worldwide trending topic because of the netizen’s excitement in Kathryn’s “Wansapanataym” special.

Meanwhile, TV viewers will surely enjoy Kathryn’s next adventure in the continuation of “Wansapanataym Presents Puppy Ko Si Papi” this Sunday (November 16). As her dad transforms into a dog, Iris (Kathryn) will need to correct her mistakes to bring her Daddy Douglas back to being human once again.

What will Iris do to make everything right? Will she finally learn to value her father’s love now that she will be the one responsible to take care of her family?

Also part of “Wansapanataym Presents Puppy ko si Papi” are Khalil Ramos, Marlann Flores, Chienna Filomena, Apollo Abraham, John Steven de Guzman, and John Lapus. It is written by Yam Tanangco Domingo and directed by Don Cuaresma.

The original story book for Filipino kids “Wansapanataym” is under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the group that created top-rating TV masterpieces such as “Walang Hanggan,” “Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” and “Juan dela Cruz.”
