Teen actress Julia Barretto signed a contract with Star Cinema on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
Star Cinema is the movie production arm of ABS-CBN, where Julia has a current television contract.
Present at the contract signing were Julia's mother, Marjorie Barretto; Star Cinema head Malou Santos; and Johnny Manahan of Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN that manages Julia's showbiz career.
The "Mirabella" star was recently reported to be doing a movie together with James Reid, Nadine Lustre and Iñigo Pascual. Titled "Para Sa Hopeless Romantic," it will be a co-production between Viva Films and Star Cinema.
