It’s the love month, and with it comes the curiosity of who these celebrities are gonna spend their Valentine’s Day with. Even Charice was bombarded with the question when she came home last Sunday for the taping of the GMA-7 Valentine special.
But since Oprah Winfrey supposedly told her to put her love life on hold so she could concentrate on her international singing (and acting) career, Charice only has this to answer the big question: “Valentine? Family ko po.” Safe answer, even if she says her mom Raquel allows her to entertain suitors now that she’s eighteen.
“I want more time with my family,” she adds. “Sa ngayon nakukuha ko na ang mga pangangailangan ng pamilya ko.”
She also told reporters that a certain foreign singer has expressed interest in her, although she didn’t dropped a name. When asked if it is David Archuleta, Charice simply said, “Hindi.”
Meanwhile, Glee’s back this Sunday, Feb. 06 (Feb. 07 in Manila), for the Superbowl episode. Two days after that, the show will also air its Valentine episode. The cable ad says Charice will be back for the Superbowl episode but internet articles say otherwise, and that the pint-sized singer will be on later in the season.
But whether she’d be on the Superbowl episode or not, we’re just glad her character, Sunshine Corazon, is still in the script.
