'Kun Maupay Man It Panahon' starring Daniel Padilla, Charo Santos-Concio - Poster and Trailer

Kun Maupay Man It Panahon is an official entry to the 47th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) which opens on December 25, 2021. It stars Daniel Padilla, Rans Rifol and Charo Santos-Concio.

The film had its world premiere in August 2021 at the 74th Locarno Film Festival where it won the Cinema e Gioventù Prize. It was also screened at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival under the Contemporary World Cinema section.

ABS-CBN was named the TV Station of the Year at this year’s SKAL Tourism Personality Awards, where the network’s top executives were also honored for their contributions to the promotion of Philippine tourism internationally and locally.

ABS-CBN chairman Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III and president and CEO Charo Santos Concio showed their support for the worldwide campaign for raising awareness and research funds for the  neurological disorder Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease by accepting the ice bucket challenge.

Lopez accepted the nomination of news anchor Noli de Castro and IBM Philippines general manager Mariels Almeda Winhoffer and agreed to get doused with a pail of iced water. Concio, meanwhile, took the cause after being nominated by news reporters Doris Bigornia and Gretchen Fullido.

ABS-CBN wins Grand Stevie Award at Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards

ABS-CBN, the country’s largest and leading multimedia conglomerate, bagged a Grand Stevie Award at the prestigious Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, making it the only Filipino company to receive the highest honor given to five companies in the region during its gala awards banquet in Seoul, South Korea recently.


The Grand Stevie Award not only brought honor to ABS-CBN, but also put the Philippines in the regional spotlight. It was presented to the highest-scoring entries from the five nations from which the award-giving body received the most entries this year. Other Grand Stevie Award winners are companies from Australia, Indonesia, South Korea, and Singapore.

Charo Santos-Concio and ABS-CBN win in Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards

ABS-CBN and its president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio were hailed as the Gold Stevie Award winners in the Services Company of the Year and Woman of the Year categories for the Philippines at the prestigious Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.


ABS-CBN is one of the only two Philippine companies to receive a Gold Stevie Award this year. More than 300 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered in 18 categories.

Noli de Castro and Charo Santos-Concio honored at 3rd OFW Gawad Parangal

Kapisanan ng mga Kamag-anak at Migranteng Manggagawang Pilipino, Inc. (KAKAMMPI) recently named ABS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio and broadcast journalist Noli de Castro as recipients of the 3rd OFW Gawad Parangal.

Charo was named Most Prominent Host of the Longest Drama Anthology for “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” Noli, meanwhile, was honored as Best Television Male Newscaster for ABS-CBN’s flagship newscast “TV Patrol.”

KC Concepcion and Cristine Reyes renewed their respective contracts with ABS-CBN on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

ABS-CBN Corporation, the country’s leading and largest multimedia conglomerate, announced the appointment of Ma. Rosario “Charo” Santos-Concio as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2013. The new position is in addition to her role as the company’s President and Chief Content Officer. Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III continues to be the Chairman of the Board of ABS-CBN.

Today's Brightest Stars Renewed Contract with ABS-CBN

Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee renewed their contracts with ABS-CBN last October 6th. Considered as among the brightest Kapamilya stars, the contract signing was attended by the big bosses of ABS-CBN led by President Charo Santos-Concio, Channel Head Cory Vidanes, Freddie M. Garcia, and Star Magic Head Mariole Alberto.

The four celebrities currently star in their own soaps in the Kapamilya network. Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee are the lead stars of Maria la del Barrio where they play Maria and Luis respectively. Kim Chiu, on the other hand, stars in My Binondo Girl and Gerald Anderson's advocacy series Budoy has just premiered last Monday.

Recently, it was Shaina Magdayao, Angelica Panganiban and Pokwang who renewed their contracts. Shaina will star opposite Jake Cuenca in the upcoming series titled Doha while we just saw Angelica Panganiban guest star in 100 Days to Heaven. Pokwang co-hosts Happy Yipee Yehey and her contract renewal with the network ends talks that she also wants to transfer to TV5 to co-host with Willie Revillame just like Mariel Rodriguez did.
