Kim Chiu's The Ghost Bride is now on its second week. It's a certified blockbuster as it reportedly earned P51.5-million in its first five days of showing.
Before its first week ended last night, however, Kim's friends Angelica Panganiban and Bela Padilla trooped to the cinema to catch the horror movie together with its lead star.
Angelica was all praises for Kim's performance.
"Unang-una sa lahat, hindi ako makapaniwala na kaibigan ko yung bida, Angelica wrote in the caption of her Instagram post showing the three of them at the cinema. "Wala sigang eksenang tinapon o pinabayaan. Niyakap niya yung trabaho sa pelikula.
She also added that Kim long deserved to have a title role and that she's glad it went well.
"Yes! Pelikula mo! Iyong iyo lang ito!" Angelica further wrote.
Bela, on the other hand expressed how proud she was of Kim.
"Galing-galing ni Kimmy! So proud of you!" Bela wrote in her own IG post.
She even cited a favorite scene. "That scene where you wanted to scream but nothing came out gave me more chills than seeing all the ghosts come out."
Angelica, Bela and Kim tag their frindship "AngBeKi" from the first syllables of their names.
