'Para Sa Hopeless Romantic' earns P8M on opening day

The love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre (known as JaDine) proved once again that it can draw crowds as evident in the first day box-office gross their latest movie, "Para Sa Hopeless Romantic," has reportedly made.

In an Instagram post by Viva (seen above), the movie which opened in 150 cinemas on Wednesday, May 13, 2013, earned P8 million on its first day alone.

JaDine first teamed up in the movie "Diary Ng Panget" which was their first box-office hit. It was followed by another hit, "Talk Back and You're Dead." Both movies were released in 2014.

"Para Sa Hopeless Romantic" is based on the book written by Marcelo Santos III and directed by Andoy Ranay. It also stars the love team of Julia Barretto and Inigo Pascual.
