PDA 2 3rd Gala Night: Liezel, Star Scholar for the 3rd Consecutive Time

Liezel seems to be what the judges are looking for. She always gets the highest score for three Saturdays in a row, or make that since PDA started. Her voice is so clear and it has that quality that's distinctly hers. She wasn't prepared when host Toni Gonzaga called her name as the first Top 3. She already had this yellow PDA 2 jacket draped around her shoulders because she wasn't expecting her name to be called.

Ivan was part of the Top 3 for the second time. He was also part of the Top 3 (with Miguel and, of course, Liezel) on the first gala night. During the first days of PDA 2, I thought Van was just another cute face on the season to add flava (so to speak) to the show. But now I know he is not. He can sing very well and can hit high notes, too. And did I mention he looks so good? As Gerard Salonga puts it, Van can be outsung by a number of his co-scholars, but no one can "outstar" him.

Another scholar who can hit the high notes is Christian. Of course he can. What with the Mahal-like voice? He's part of the Top 3 last night, by the way.
