Fahrenheit Update
Fahrenheit members Wu Chun and Calvin Chen arrived in Manila Saturday noon for the promotion of the Taiwanese soap Romantic Princess where they both appear. Wu was first seen on Philippine television via the romantic-comedy soap Hana Kimi with co-Fahrenheit member Jiro Wang. Due to the success of Hana Kimi, ABS-CBN followed it up with another Wu Chun starrer, Romantic Princess, this time with Calvin Chen.
Wu and Calvin appeared live on Entertainment Live amidst screaming fans. They both speak English well (with heavy Mandarin accent, more on Wu, actually) and they know certain Filipino words like kumusta and mabuhay. Wu went to college in Australia, Calvin in Canada. That explains the English-speaking part. Wu expressed his wish to go back in the Philippines with the Fahrenheit for a concert, which was agreed by Calvin.
They later on appeared as guest performers on the Fourth Gala Performance Night of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 where they sang an upbeat song in Mandarin (reminiscent of the F4 and NEWS). Some of their loyal fans from Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia flew all the way to the Philippines just to see them. Said fans were seen in the audience of PDA 2.
Also spotted in the audience was Pretty Trisha who was earlier in the day a contestant of Edu Manzano's Game Ka Na Ba?
Tomorrow, Wu Chun and Calvin Chen are also set to appear on ASAP '08 and The Buzz.
