The comedian/writer was reprimanded by the city vice mayor Paolo Duterte during the Kadayawan Festival celebration Saturday night for saying that there are a lot of "hipon" in Davao.
"Hipon" is a Filipino slang for someone with a sexy body but has an ugly face.
"Ang daming hipon dito sa Davao, alright, 'hipon, hipon.' ... When I say 'hi,' you say 'pon,'" Bautista's bad joke went.
According to reports, the vice mayor talked to Ramon backstage to give him a one-on-one on respect, and then told the "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?" writer to go back onstage to apologize.
Before the event ended, Ramon was seen saying his apologies while the Davaoeños boo him. Watch the video below.
