The Pinoy Boyband Superstar live shows have begun. The Top 12 were divided into 4 groups with 3 members each and the last to perform was the group of Allen Cecilio, Russell Reyes and Miko Javier.
Allen, Russell and Miko gave an energetic performance of NSYNC's Tearin' Up My Heart which they sang with a cute choreography. Russel had the strongest vocals but Miko couldn't be overlooked. Allen, meanwhile, almost had no voice prior to band rehearsals. Good thing he got his voice back and was able to perform well.
While judge Aga Muhlach named the first group as his favorite after they performed, he changed his mind and named the fourth group as the one on top after he saw their number. He thought the group of Allen, Russell and Miko was the underdog but he was wrong and commended their performance impact.
Yeng Constantino also named this group as her favorite tonight, and Sandara Park said the group was very strong.
Vice Ganda said it was a beautiful performance. "I appreciate it," he said.

After all the groups have performed, the judges would pick the strongest group which would be named "Boyband of the Week." From the weakest group, however, each member would have to perform live and convince the judges that they are worthy of staying in the competition. One of them will be saved by the judges, one by the votes and the other would be eliminated. One boyband member hopeful will be eliminated each week until they are down to 7. During the grand finals, two will be eliminated and the final 5 members will be formed.
