Former "Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up" housemate Hermes Bautista won the title of Mister Universe Philippines 2016 at the Mister Philippines 2016 pageant, held April 14 at the Tanghalang Pasigueno in Pasig City.
The 30-year-old Filipino-American who represented San Fernando, Pampanga in the pageant bested 23 other contestants for the title, and the chance to represent the country at the Men Universe Model 2016 pageant in Dominican Republic this July.
Prior to the crown, Hermes was also named best in formal and swimwear by the judges.
Meanwhile, Mark Louie Bornilla of Bulacan was named Mister Global Philippines 2016 and will be the country's bet at the Mister Global 2016 pageant in Thailand next month. He also received the Mr. Blackwater award.
