ABS-CBN’s “MaalaalaMo Kaya” will share the touching tale of a son and his stepfather in its episode this Saturday (July 4). It will be topbilled by Joey Marquez and Patrick Garcia.
Despite the separation of his parents, Macky (Patrick) grew up feeling complete and happy because of the love of his mother Marciana (Ara Mina) and his stepdad Renato (Joey). However, all this changed when Marciana suddenly dies and Macky feels that Renato has never loved him as a real son.
What kind of pain and hardships did Macky have to go through when he felt that he lost both of his parents? How did he and Renato find it in their hearts to forgive each other and rebuild the good relationship they once had?
Joining Patrick and Joey in “MMK’s” episode this Saturday are Bugoy Carino, Perla Bautista, Richard Quan, Nathaniel Britt, Alexa Macanan, Anjo Damiles, Archie Alemanio, and Luke Jickain. It is under the direction of Raz dela Torre and written by Benjamin Benson Logronio. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
