Teen star Julia Barretto has finally talked about the rumors that she and James Reid are dating.
Rumors that they were spotted dating at a coffee shop started last month, but James has already denied it saying he doesn't even have Julia's number.
In an article that appeared on pep.ph on Monday, Julia said that people should take it from what James said.
"Sana nakuha na ng bashers, ng mga tao na worried yung peace of mind, kasi nasagot na naman niya yung issue. Take it from there, move on na tayo, and focus na tayo sa mga work natin," she said.
Julia and her current love team Inigo Pascual worked with James and Nadine Lustre (JaDine) in the movie "Para Sa Hopeless Romantic." James allegedly started setting his eyes on Julia while they were filming the movie.
Since the dating rumors came out, the JaDine supporters have started bashing Julia on social media.
"Nasaktan ako sa bashers, kasi wala namang proof sa mga nasasabing rumors," the teen actress said regarding the harsh words towards her that the bashers write, mostly on Twitter and Instagram.
"I always say, kaming mga iniidolo nila, kaming mga iniiwanan ng mga comments sa Instagram, sa Twitter, tao lang kami. Nasasaktan kami sa mga ibinabato nilang salita. Sana next time, matuto na yung mga tao na mag-handle ng mga situations na ganito with more grace. Huwag quick to judge kasi masakit din yung mga nabibitawang salita," she added.
Meanwhile, Julia and Inigo together with Miles Ocampo will soon star in the upcoming ABS-CBN series "And I Love You So."
James and Nadine, on the other hand, are also currently busing taping for their first TV series, "On The Wings Of Love," also from the Kapamilya Network.
