Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the British secret agent in the 23rd James Bond film. EON Productions and MGM recently announced that the filming of the film will start later this year for a November 9, 2012 release (UK and Ireland will have it earlier on October 26, 2012).
The 23rd James Bond film will be Daniel Craig's third time to star as the British Secret Intelligence Service agent. He started doing the role in 2006's Casino Royale, which was followed two years later by Quantum of Solace.
There is a total of 22 James Bond films that has been made, the first of which was Dr. No which starred Sean Connery.
Before Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan was well-loved as James Bond in four films from 1995 to 2002.
