A new trailer for Don't Be Afraid of the Dark has been released through Yahoo! Movies. The movie stars Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, and Bailee Madison.
The movie is about a family who moves into a 19th-century mansion they are restoring. Horror starts when Sally (Bailee Madison) hears voices who want to draw her into the hidden basement.

Directed by Troy Nixey, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is based on the 1973 teleplay by Nigel McKeand. Producer Guillermo del Toro himself and Matthew Robbins wrote the script.
The movie is set to premiere August 26, 2011.
