About a hundred foreign and 400 local couples are competing at the 2nd Philippine Star Ball which happens on February 15 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Pinky Puno, head of the organizing committee of the Philippine Star Ball, says it's going to be a tougher competition this year as the best from around the world join in the challenge.
There's going to be a daytime competition which starts at 10 a.m., and an evening competition at 8 p.m.
Standard dances include slow waltz, tango, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, and quickstep.
