'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' starring Tom Cruise - Poster and Teaser released

The first teaser for "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" has been released. Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt in the fifth installment of the movie series directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is set to open in cinemas July 2015.

Tom Cruise death hoax trends on Twitter

Tom Cruise, who is the star of the upcoming science fiction film Oblivion, trended on Twitter on April 11, 2013 due to a death hoax which was started by the entertainment website mediafetcher.com.

According to the fake news, the 50-year-old actor died in a single car crash in Queensland, Australia, around 5:30 AM on Thursday.

A new trailer has been release for Oblivion which stars Tom Cruise, Andrea Riseborough and Morgan Freeman. The sci-fi action movie opens in theaters April 2013.

Tom plays the role of a veteran soldier sent to earth by the court martial years after it was devastated by the war that it won against the aliens. But what he believed in about the war was the opposite of what he found out inside a crashed spacecraft.

“Rock of Ages” – TV Spot #5

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new TV spot for Rock of Ages. The Adam Shankman-helmed movie will hit theaters on June 14, 2012.

Rock of Ages is an adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same title. It stars Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx, Diego Boneta as Drew Boley and Julianne Hough as Sherrie Christian.

Tom Cruise is on the cover of W magazine’s June 2012 issue channeling Stacee Jaxx from his movie Rock of Ages which is showing on June 14.

“Rock of Ages” – New Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have released a new trailer for Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages which is coming to Philippine theaters in June.

The movie is an adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same title by Chris D’Arienzo, who also wrote the screenplay together with Justin Theroux and Allan Loeb.

Rock of Ages stars Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx, Diego Boneta as Drew Boley and Julianne Hough as Sherrie Christian.

"Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol" – First Trailer

Tom Cruise returns as the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) agent Ethan Hunt in the fourth installment of the Mission: Impossible film series titled Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Scheduled to premiere December 2011, Paramount Pictures has recently released the first trailer for the much-awaited action film.

Returning cast members include Ving Rhames who has played Luther Stickell since the first movie. Simon Pegg, who played Benji Dunn in the third installment, is also reprising his role. New characters will be played by Jeremy Renner, Josh Holloway Jennifer Stone, Michael Nyqvist, and Paula Patton.

Brad Bird directs Ghost Protocol from the script written by Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec. J.J. Abrams, who directed Mission: Impossible III, is co-producing this movie through his Bad Robot Productions.

When a terrorist bombing destroys the Kremlin, the United States government activates "Ghost Protocol" and disavows the entire Impossible Mission Force. Ethan Hunt and his team are blamed for the attack, but are allowed to escape as part of a plan to enable them to operate outside their agency. Hunt is warned that if any member of his team is captured or compromised, they will be charged as terrorists planning a nuclear strike. He is forced to work with fellow IMF agent Brandt, who knows much more about Hunt and his past than Hunt himself.

DETAILS unveiled its Power 40 list, the list of 40 most influential men in the world, in its December 2008 issue. On the cover is Tom Cruise who landed on the 7th spot of the power list.

Surprisingly, Barack Obama isn't included in the list. But guess who's on the number one spot - Obama's Secret Service Agent.
