The second episode of Pilipinas Got Talent 6 sent 1 act home and 3 acts to the next round. But unlike the 1st episode, no one got a Golden Buzzer this time.
COMEDY DANCE ACT
First act to perform was the Type 1 Dance Company from Cebu City. At first it looked like the group was just a typical comedy-dance act in colorful shirts and happy mood. They, however, lived up to when they said they will bring something new with their performance.
Pilipinas Got Talent season 6 aired its pilot episode on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Vice Ganda, Robin Padilla, Angel Locsin and Freddie M. Garcia (FMG) consisted the panel of judges and Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga hosted. Toni is the newest addition to the show.
TOWEL DANCE
The comedy group, Mama's Boyz, from Sta. Mesa, Manila was the first act that was aired during the season premiere. The group did a towel dance, using only towels to cover their naked bodies while dancing.
It's their failure to cover up sensitive areas in some parts of the dance that gave the audience and the judges a good laugh. The routine is not new in talent shows, though, but it was how the group delivered that made the audience love them.
In the end, Mama's Boyz got 4 yeses from judges Vice Ganda, Robin Padilla, Angel Locsin and Freddie M. Garcia.
The Power Duo (Jervin and Aja) was named the grand winner of "Pilipinas Got Talent" season 5 during the show's finale on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Getting a combined score from the judges and public votes of 100%, the dance act from Angono, Rizal received two million pesos as this season's champion.
"Pilipinas Got Talent" is coming back for its 5th season and auditions have been announced to start in October 2015.
The talent show's 4th season finale was aired more than 2 years ago, but with upcoming auditions stretching up until November, there's a small chance that season 5 will be aired this year.
Past winners of "PGT" include Jovit Baldivino (season 1), Marcelito Pomoy (season 2), Maasinhon Trio (season 3) and Roel Manlangit (season 4).
Pilipinas Got Talent 4 will have live auditions on January 17-18 (Thursday and Friday) at the PAGCOR Grand Theater in Parañaque and eveyone is invited to watch!

Maasinhon Trio was declared the Grand Winner of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 during the Results Night held at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City on Sunday, October 23, 2011.
Maasinhon Trio got a total of 22.60% of combined text and online votes making them the PGT Season 3 Grand Winner. During the Performance Night yesterday, the trio did their own rendition of Basil Valdez's Nais Ko. Kris described their performance as "cool, plakado at malinis." Freddie M. Garcia, on the other hand, said that the Maasinhon Trio "brought out the blending of voices as a trio" and that they have perfected what they did.
Maasinhon Trio won 2 million pesos as the grand prize.
Bringas Brothers and Khalil Ramos joined the Maasinhon Trio in the Top 3. At the Performance Night, Bringas Brothers did their rendition of Eric Clapton's Change the World while Khalil brought the house down with his version of Aerosmith's Dream On.
Maasinhon Trio succeeded Marcelito Pomoy who was the PGT Season 2 grand winner. Jovit Baldivino, on the other hand, was the PGT Season 1 winner.

Performance night of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 Grand Finals was held tonight at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City.
El Gamma Penumbra was the first to perform and I must say their performance gave me goose bumps. They did a shadow dance to the tune of Angeline Quinto's Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas. The group's dance routine talked about the country's history while showing some famous spots in the Philippines.
The peak of their performance was when they showed Christians and Muslims reaching out towards each other. They gained the loudest applause at that point.
Kris Aquino said she clapped 18 times throughout the performance. Ai-Ai de las Alas, on the other hand, said the group made her proud to be a Batangueño.
Second to perform was the Maasinhon Trio. The three men, who were choir trained, blended so well in their rendition of Basil Valdez's Nais Ko. Kris described their performance as "cool, plakado at malinis." Freddie M. Garcia, on the other hand, said that the Maasinhon Trio "brought out the blending of voices as a trio" and that they have perfected it.
The Loverkada Kids wowed the audience with their gymnast skills and stunts that were quite dangerous for little kids like them. True enough, one of them had a bleeding lip after the performance. The sole male member of the group didn't perform due to an illness (or did an accident happen while rehearsing?) but the kids amazed the audience nonetheless.
Renagine Pepito performed next with her rendition of Charice's Note to God. Sadly, the judges were not familiar with the song (LoL!). FMG said she's so brave to sing a not-so-familiar song but that she showed them her vocal range and her abilities.
The rap group Kiriko performed their own composition and it was Pinoy rap at its finest. The message of the song – which was about not giving up – was so clear that it wowed FMG and it made them Kris' favorite.
The Bringas Brothers did their own version of Eric Clapton's Change the World. It may not be the best performance of the night but the story behind one of them having cancer was enough to make you like them.
*Sigh*
Twin Divas was impressive in their song and dance number which started with belting the Mariah Carey-Whitney Houston hit When You Believe then shifting to Jennifer Lopez's Let's Get Loud. The audience went wild with the number because for one, those were familiar songs (especially the latter) and two, the singing, dancing and some acrobatic skills of the twins were really impressive. FMG even said, "binuhay mo ang aking katawang lupa."
Muriel Lomadilla did the famous Killing Me Softly putting her own touches to the song. She looked quite unsure while singing and dancing but she wowed the audience and the judges when she started belting the high notes.
My personal favorite, the Lucky Twins, were the 9th to perform. They danced to the tune of Maalaala Mo Kaya and it was one of the two performances of the night that gave me goose bumps. Kris told them that she hoped what the twins did was prophetic in a way that MMK would also feature their life stories just like PGT Season 2 grand finalist Happy Feet and winner Marcelito Pomoy. FMG also praised them by saying, "I have never seen a dance presentation as beautiful as yours."
The Sandugo band let go of their reggae beat, though, to show the Philippines and the world that they could also do something else other than reggae. They performed P.O.T.'s Yugyugan Na and the front man was such a delight to watch with his cute dancing, good vocals, printed vest and quite gay facial expressions.
Fifteen-year-old Khalil Ramos was, as expected, the most applauded due to his good looks. Ai-Ai kept on saying he's the Justin Bieber of the Philippines but he reminded me more of David Archuleta with his singing style. Khalil did his own rendition of Aerosmith's Dream On and, again, the audience went wild almost throughout the song. He was shaky at some point but I guess that went unnoticed because all that mattered was his good looks.
Saving the best for last, the acrobat act Synergy performed their death-defying aerial routines. It reminded me of a Cirque du Soleil with the well-prepared costumes and world-class performance. According to Kris, it was "sexy, daring, perfect na pang-finale ng Season 3."

The last semi-final round of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 has just been concluded. Khalil Ramos and Kiriko emerged as tonight's winners completing the 12 finalists.
Finalists were chosen through 6 weekly semi-final rounds, picking 2 contestants each week through combined text and online votes and judges' decision.
Finals will be held next week. Perfomance night will be on October 22, Saturday, and results night on October 23, Sunday. Both episodes will be at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City.

The Sandugo band and Muriel Lomadilla were the two Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) finalists chosen last night. They became the third and fourth finalists of the show's third season, joining El Gamma Penumbra and Lucky Twins who were chosen last week.

Just two short weeks after the grand finals, Pilipinas Got Talent is coming back for its third season tomorrow, July 9, 2011. It's the first back-to-back season for a Got Talent franchise which is conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company.
Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford will reprise their hosting duties, as well as the judges Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai de las Alas, and Freddie Garcia.
Pilipinas Got Talent visited more than 40 provinces for this season. There are also online auditions where the hopefuls are asked to upload their videos in the show's website. Now, that's a tedious job of hunting for the country's most talented, no?
Who will follow the footsteps of season one's Jovit Baldivino and season two's Marcelito Pomoy and win P2 million?

Marcelito Pomoy was declared champion of ABS-CBN's Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 held June 26, 2011 at the Araneta Coliseum. He won P2 million in cash prize by getting 19.56% of votes, the highest among the 14 finalists.
Marcelito Pomoy wowed the audience with his performance last June 25th. He sang The Prayer, an Andrea Bocelli and Celin Dion original duet. He did both the male and female parts so well that you'd think it was a real woman singing the female parts.
First runner-up was the tap dancing Mata brothers collectively known as the Happy Feet. They got 18.22% of votes, just 1.34% short from Marcelito's.
Landing in the third spot was Freestylers, a dance act from Calamba, Laguna. They got 9.46% of the total votes, so far from what Happy Feet got.
It would be now safe to say that the battle was only between Marcelito Pomoy and Happy Feet. And since it's again a singer who won this season, we can also say that we Pinoys really love singing acts more than anything else.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2's Wildcard Round has just been concluded and two more were chosen to complete the 14 grand finalists.
From among the 6 wildcard contestants, Rico the Magician and Skeights got the highest number of text votes with 41.68% and 30.16% respectively. The wildcard competition was purely based on text votes alone.
Collins Gutierrez, Next Generation Band, and Kenny Padalla were eliminated early on. Joy's Diva joined Rico the Magician and Skeights in the top 3, but was eliminated nonetheless.
