Nick Jonas’ original song in Ferdinand scores nomination at Golden Globes 2018

Set in Spain, the delightful movie Ferdinand tells the remarkable story of a gentle bull, voiced by John Cena, a gentle giant who prefers flowers to fighting and has no desire to face off against matadors in the bullring. It follows Ferdinand as he embarks on a thrilling, dangerous and fun-filled journey to find love, acceptance and a real home. Home is also the title of the new song from Jonas, about the place where people (and bulls) can relax and be themselves.

From the award-winning Blue Sky Studios, Ferdinand was directed by Carlos Saldanha. Based on the classic 1936 children’s book of the same name, by author Munro Leaf and illustrator Robert Lawson, the film also stars Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon as the voice of Lupe the goat.

Isabel Lucas, best known for her debut feature roles in the Australian television series “Home and Away” and in the blockbuster action movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” continues to emerge as one of Hollywood’s up and coming leading actresses as she equally stars with music pop star Nick Jonas in the thrilling and edgy thriller “Careful What You Wish For.”

In the film, Lucas stars as Lena Harper, a sultry gorgeous married woman who caught the attention and passion of Doug, a high school student who gets into a serious web of lies when he starts having a torrid affair with Lena. Married to a wealthy investment banker, Elliot Harper played by Dermot Mulroney, Lena and husband moved in to a town next door to Doug’s family vacation house at Lake Lure where the two lovers met. Doug and Lena secretly hook up when her husband is out of town. Eventually, Doug discovers shocking domestic issues as their affair continues. Keeping his affair from his family and best friend, Doug suddenly finds himself trapped at Lena’s side when Elliot is found dead in the couple’s home. Upon further investigation, it seems that everyone has become a suspect, with all evidence leading to Doug as the prime suspect.

Nick Jonas transitions to serious acting role in 'Careful What You Wish For' - Poster & Trailer

The youngest sibling of the phenomenal Jonas Brothers band, Nick Jonas, stars in his first adult and serious acting role in the upcoming thriller “Careful What You Wish For” opposite Isabel Lucas and Dermot Mulroney.

Jonas plays Doug, a handsome self-conscious virgin student who gets more than what he bargained for when he started having a very passionate affair with Lena (Lucas), the wife of an investment banker Elliot Harper (Mulroney). Further into their relationship, Doug is eventually charged with adultery and has become the prime suspect of Harper’s death.

Charice's "One Day" - Music Video and Lyrics

Check out Charice's One Day music video which premiered a while ago on AOL. The song was co-written and produced by Nick Jonas for Acuvue contact lenses.

In an interview with MTV, Nick said the song is more than just contact lenses. It's a great campaign about following your dreams.

He said he flew to Boston to produce the song for Charice while the pint-sized Filipina singer was filming a movie in the area.
