A grand talent showcase is up this Sunday (November 4) in Sarah Geronimo’s solo musical program Sarah G. Live!
In the episode, international Pinoy RnB sensation Billy Crawford goes on a concert showdown with X Factor Philippines finalists Gabriel Maturan, Jeric Medina and Daddy’s Home.
KZ Tandingan won the first-ever season of The X Factor Philippines. She got the most number of combined text and online votes, beating the other two finalists Gabriel Maturan and Daddy’s Home. She got P4 million in cash and prizes including a recording contract with Star Records.
KZ is from Digos City and has wowed the X Factor audience since the auditions. She’s known for her style of singing that can be compared to the late Amy Winehouse.
It’s the grand finals’ performance show of The X Factor Philippines and the Final 3 remaining contestants were all pumped up for their last performance as the season’s contestants.
Fans of KZ Tandingan of Digos City, Gabriel Maturan of Dapitan, and Daddy’s Home of Marikina filled the PAGCOR Grand Theater. Live and television viewers were treated to a spectacular number as the three performed with Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha who arrived from Hawaii just yesterday.
Gabriel Maturan and Daddy’s Home were the first two to be announced safe and, therefore, included in the finals next week.
Allen Jane Sta. Maria and KZ Tandingan, who both belong to the Girls Category mentored by Charice, were the Bottom 2. That means only one of them will go through to the finale.
